Three Mistakes in Patio Light String and Its Prevention

The E26 base is the standard family size and is often referred to as a medium size. The width of the base and socket is 26 mm.

The E17 base is the same as C9 and is usually called an intermediate group. The base and socket are 17mm wide.

The E17 base is the same as the C7 and is commonly referred to as a candle holder. The base and socket are 17mm wide.

If you don't know which size you currently have, simply hold a ruler up to the base or socket and count millimeters.
